This is a temporary blog to document my trip to Canada and Haida Gwaii. Haida Gwaii is one of those places I have dreamed of ever since my last visit to Canada, which was maybe 10 years ago. I fancied I could see it on the horizon, and even if I couldn’t really I felt drawn to visit and it entered my ‘notebook of possible places.’

If life is a series of acts, Act 1 must be my youth, Act 2 my long relationship and Act 3 is – who knows? But it will be launched by the Big Trip.
